Moodle: Bulk Editing

Bulk editing allows instructors to perform actions on multiple activities or modules at a time. These actions include toggling the availability of, duplicating, moving, and deleting items.

Using Bulk Edit Mode

  1. From the course page, toggle Edit Mode in the top right corner

  2. Click Bulk Edit, located on the top right corner of the course banner

  3. Select which activities or modules you would like to edit using the check boxes to the left of each item

    1. Select All will quickly check all activities or modules in the course

  1. Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to edit your selected items

    1. Availability: Sets the visibility of the item for your students

    2. Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected activity

    3. Move: Allows you to choose where items appear in the course

    4. Delete: Removes the item from the course and deletes all of it’s related data
