macOS: Enabling Stapler and Other Specialty Printing Options for Canon Printers

  1. Go to the Apple Menu and select System Preferences (macOS 11-12) or System Settings (macOS 13-14)

  2. Select Printers & Scanners

  3. Select the Printer you want to be able to do specialty printing on

  4. Click the Options & Supplies button

  5. Click the Options tab

  6. Set the following options

    1. Paper Source Options: Casset Feeding Unit AM1

    2. Paper Deck Unit: Off

    3. Output Options: Inner Finisher H1

    4. Copy Tray: Off

    5. Puncher: None

    6. Check the box next to Secure Printing Function of Device

  7. Click OK
