Overview
Use Google Assignments in Moodle for student submissions via Google Apps (e.g. docs, slides, etc.). Grades implemented within Google Assignment will be synced to the Moodle gradebook. This article includes key options and configurations.
Creating a Google Assignment

Enable Edit mode in the top bar of the course page

Click plus icon (+) in between 2 activities OR click the Add an activity or resource button in the desired section of the page

Find or search and select GoogleAssignment Tool

For easier access in the future, star this item

Title your assignment in the Activity name text box

Click the Save and return to course button
Configuring the Settings
Click on the Google assignment from the course front page to access the settings.

Total Points: maximum grade of the assignment

Check plagiarism (originality): if enables, a report is generated highlighting text from the internet that the student didn’t cite or quote

Due date: this will only be reflected within Google Assignment, NOT Moodle

Rubric: Create a rubric for the assignment or reuse a previous rubric

Pencil Icon: Change the title and add instructions.
