Find your Device's IP Address

When your device connects to a network, it gets assigned a private IP address so that it can communicate with network itself (not with the full internet). Here's how to find that private IP address:

Find your Public IP Address

If ITS asks you for this information, we typically need your Public IPv4 address when we need to know your Public IP address. The easiest way to find that is to Google "What's my IP Address" and Google will tell you, though it may tell you a much longer IPv6 address, so you may have to click into the results to see your IPv4 address.
