Overview
Request an update, upgrade or installation of St. Olaf software. Typical software requests include:
- ArcGIS Software (Online, Desktop, and Pro)
- Microsoft Office installation and upgrade, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Operating Systems Upgrade, including Mac or Windows
- Discipline specific software updates and installation
- Mach5 Mailer (mail merge) - this company is no longer in business. Please use Yet Another Mail Merge Google add-on.
- Virtual Reality Applications
- Games (Playstation 4, HTC Vive)
Software requests are approved on a case by case basis. If an application is not available, let us know what is needed and the intended use.

Software Purchase Requests
As a general rule, requests to purchase software should be added to the Fall or Spring Technology Requests. However, if you are in need of software before the next Technology Request, please fill out the form.
Self Service / How To
On St. Olaf machines, you can install some software yourself! This includes Mathematica, SPSS, and Panopto. To install open Management Software Center or Self Service (on Mac OS) and Software Center (on Windows).
