Troubleshooting: Cannot dial 507 area code phone numbers

Area code required for outside calls starting July 30

In preparation for the new 924 area code serving southern Minnesota, beginning July 30, all local calls made within the 507 area code region must be placed using 10 digits. If you are making an outside call from a campus phone you will need to dial an 8 (for an outside line), the 507 area code, followed by the 7-digit telephone number.
