After Changing Your Password

1. Test your new password: Open a private browsing window or a new browser and log into the Alumni Directory
2. If you have not done so already, set up your recovery options (link opens in new tab)

What to Expect after You Change Your Password

• It may take time for site sessions to expire and request reauthentication. For example, Gmail may continue to log in automatically for some time before prompting you to enter your new password.
• If you have had your computer or browsers remember your passwords, you will need to enter your new password the first time you visit Carleton websites and systems rather than using the remembered password.
