Mac: Troubleshooting printing issues after upgrading to macOS 12 Monterey

After updating the computer to macOS Monterey, some people experience issues with printing where printing options that existed previously no longer exist, or printouts have blank text or missing images or the like. These issues tend to resolve after updating printer drivers:

  1. Use the Self Service application on your computer to download and install updated Canon drivers 
  2. Remove the printer from your list of installed printers
  3. Add the printer back to your list of installed printers
