If you have a Windows computer and need to check out a USB optical drive from the ECC, you will receive an Apple SuperDrive.
In order to use it, you will need to install a driver.
- Please click the link in the "Attachments" window below to download the driver installer:
- Once you have done so, run the installer.
- Plug the SuperDrive into a USB-A port on your computer. (You may need an adapter to get from USB-C on your computer to the USB-A of the SuperDrive. If you have a Carleton-provided machine you may already have an adapter available to you.) If you need one, adapters are available from the ECC.
