Carleton Faculty and Staff Licenses are provided to currently employed faculty and staff members after the employee signs in through Carleton.zoom.us, clicks SIGN IN, and follows the prompts using his/her "username@carleton.edu" email address. Licenses allow for hours-long Zoom meetings with up to 500 participants.
Carleton Student Licenses are provided to currently enrolled students after the student logs in through Carleton.zoom.us, clicks SIGN IN, and follows the prompts using his/her "username@carleton.edu" email address. Licenses allow for hours-long Zoom meetings with up to 300 participants. (Students are not eligible for Faculty and Staff licenses.)
Note: For users who require large group WEBINAR licenses (up to 1,000 participants), please submit an event support ticket.
Note: Carleton's Zoom license model changed in the fall of 2025. Prior, students were granted a Basic license, which allowed only 40 minute meetings, and students needed to request a license upgrade. That is no longer the case. Student license now allow for hours-long meetings with up to 300 participants, and students are not eligible for the Faculty/Staff licenses.
