All DiSCO spaces are available to be reserved by students, staff and faculty.
These include:
- The CLASSROOM - An active-learning classroom with five group stations, wireless connectivity for sharing personal devices on screens and seating for 20 - 25.
- The HUB - Open work area with 12 media-production priority workstations with a mix of Apple Studio and Lenovo desktop computers, and 24” Wacom Cintiq displays.
- The SET -A multifunctional production room equipped with a group podcast set up and a video camera with teleprompter for presentation production.
- The MIX 1 - Larger of the two recording rooms, Mix 1 is equipped with a streaming/video conference-ready set up with lighting, microphones and a video camera. This room also provides a computer for gaming or research projects that require a higher processor for data analysis. More space information for Mix 1 is available on the library guide.
- The MIX 2 - Smaller audio recording room with studio microphones and audio production and screencasting software.
- The LOFT - A small meeting space that includes the children’s book collection and casual seating for 12-16.
- The CAVE - A meeting and instruction space with a large display and a video camera and microphone for video conferencing. Includes tables and seating for 20-25.
