The following process is recommended for students who need to submit photos or audio recordings to assignment activities (e.g. when you need to submit a picture of hand-drawn/written work or recordings of your voice for a language course).
- Install the Moodle App on your device (IOS/Android phone or iPad).
- Open the Moodle app and login using Google authentication.
- Navigate to your course and assignment.
- Within the assignment activity, click on the Add Submission button
- Select the plus icon button
- If submitting a picture, select Photo (If submitting audio recording, skip to Step 8)
- Use your camera to take a photo of your homework, then choose Use Photo
If done adding submissions, skip to step 11. If submitting Audio, proceed to next step.
- If submitting an audio recording, select Audio
- Click on the red mic button to begin recording
- If needed press pause to pause recording, then press the red mic button to resume.
- When finished, press pause, then press the check mark
- Press the Save button to finish recording.
11. Confirm your uploaded files, then click Save in the upper right
12. Click OK on the next screen
The next screen shows you what files you've submitted to this assignment.
You've now completed the file submission process.
