How to Install Printers on a MacOS Device

Follow the instructions below to install stoPrint-personal and stoPrint-color-personal on a MacOS device. Works with Yosemite and higher. 

1. Ensure that you are connected to St. Olaf’s network (eduroam). If you are not on the eduroam WiFi, please connect to it before continuing. To install eduroam, please follow these instructions.
    
2. From the Apple Menu, select System Preferences and then select Printers & Scanners:
   
   
    
3. Select the + icon to open the list of printers:
   
   
    
4. Select stoprint-personal or stoprint-color-personal as needed. Ensure that the Use field is set to Secure AirPrint.
   If Secure AirPrint is not an option, close the Add window and disconnect from the St. Olaf network. Reconnect to the network and try again.
   
   
    
5. Select Add. stoPrint-personal or stoprint-color-personal will appear in your list of printers.

How to Print from a MacOS device

1. Print your document and enter your St. Olaf username (without the @stolaf.edu) and password when prompted. 
    
2. Your document will be held in a queue until you release it from a stoPrint copier: 
   
   
    
3. At one of the stoPrint copiers, swipe your Ole Card. 
    
4. Select the print job from the list and print.
