AGH Meeting Room Operations
Audio-Visual operation in AGH 114 is managed through either of the two touch panels:

Turning on the Sound System & Microphone Use
The sound system and the podium mic are on by default.
Volume can be adjusted by pressing the Volume + or - at the bottom of the touch panel.
To use a handheld microphone or lapel mic,
-
Select the mic from the cradle and use the switch on the microphone to turn it on.

-
If there is no sound, press the MICS button on the touch panel, be sure the mic you’ve selected is not red/muted, and then adjust the volume using the corresponding slider on the touch panel.

To use the Video Conferencing Microphones
Video conferencing mics are designed to be distributed throughout the room so that audience members in the room can be heard by the remote audience.
- Remove any or all of the video conferencing mics from their charging dock next to the tall AV cabinet.

Once removed, a green light appears on the microphone indicating it’s on. (If a red light appears, your mic is muted. Press the button, and the light should turn green.)

2. In your video conferencing software, be sure EasyIP Mixer is selected as your microphone. The microphone will now function for your video conference.
*These mics do not amplify sound to the room itself, but work well for video conferencing. There are no volume controls for these microphones, either. They serve as an automatic-one-size-fits all mic for video conferencing only.
If you’re having trouble, contact PEPS by calling x5002.
