Create Your Own Assistant

With Amplify, you can create AI Assistants customized for your specific task that you want to do. Follow these steps to configure your assistant using the setup form.

Steps to Create an AI Assistant

  • Auto-Populate from Existing Assistant (Optional)
    • You can choose an existing assistant to automatically fill in the fields. This helps you quickly set up your assistant from the previous ones that you made without starting from scratch.
  • Assistant Name
    • Enter a unique, descriptive name for your assistant.
    • This helps differentiate it from other assistants in your workspace.
  • Description (Optional)
    • Provide a brief explanation of what the assistant does.
  • Instructions
    • Give detailed instructions to guide the assistant's behavior.
    • Use {{}} brackets to create dynamic variables.
  • Disclaimer to Append to Responses (Optional)
    • Add a disclaimer message that will appear at the end of every response.
    • Or add any important notes or reminders that should be included with the assistant’s responses.
    • Useful for clarifying AI-generated content or legal notices.
  • Upload Data Sources (Optional)
    • You can attach external files to give the assistant more information to reference and answer questions accurately.
  • Advanced Settings (Optional)
    • Expand this section for additional configuration options. 
  • Save or Cancel
    • Click Save to finalize the assistant.
    • Click Cancel to discard changes.

Once saved, your assistant will be available in the Prompts Panel for use in conversations.
