A course can be saved with some or all of its parts by using the course backup tool. Moodle backups can be used for safe keeping or for use on another Moodle site. For a visual guide, please find instructions for backing up a course in this Panopto video.
ℹ️ Note: Moodle backup files are NOT human-readable formats, so do not try to open them on your computer. For a visual record of your courses, open your Moodle pages and select the Print as PDF option.

ℹ️ Note: It is against FERPA and College Policies for faculty to keep student records, and therefore faculty are not allowed to include Users in their Moodle course backup files.
