Editing PDFs on an iPad

The Adobe Acrobat app is recommended for editing PDFs on iPads. As long as the PDFs are stored in Drive, anyone can edit the PDFs in the Adobe Acrobat app and store the edits in Google Drive. Some important compatibility factors to keep in mind:

• If an Apple Pencil is needed, this process can only be done with an iPad Pro or a base iPad model that is Generation 6 or newer. To check Apple Pencil compatibility, see this article from Apple.
• The app is a free download on the Apple Store and is compatible with any iPad with version 14.0 or greater. Adobe Acrobat can be installed on earlier versions of iOS, but it may not function as expected.
