Software Support

If you need Adobe Express, you can access that using our instructions for activating an Adobe Express License.
Faculty and Staff who need Acrobat Pro can access that using our instructions for activating an Adobe Pro License.

Overview

For software support including:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (requires approval): Photoshop​​​​​​​, InDesign​​​​​​​, Illustrator, etc.
  • All other software not available in k1000.carleton.edu or Jamf Self Service
  • Program crashing
  • Error messages
  • Unexpected pop-up messages
  • Missing features or functionality

Common descriptions:

  • I need Photoshop on my computer
  • We need a specific version of FileMaker Pro in our office
  • I want to update (upgrade) my Mac OS.
  • Word is showing odd symbols in my document.
  • Chrome keeps crashing when I open a page.
  • I get an error message when I try to save a file.
  • The student workstation is missing software.
  • This feature is not working.

More Information

Request software to be installed on Carleton-owned equipment: office computer, student workstations, or non-refreshing labs.

We will check our availability and either provide instructions for installation, push the installation, or reach out to collect information for ordering the software.
