Overview
Submit your Requests for Event technology assistance, including:
- General presentation setups + check-ins
- Microphone assistance for large classrooms + meeting spaces
- Exhibitions that require temporary installs
- Video Conferencing setups + check-ins
- Gather.town spaces (Weitz 235, 236, and custom spaces)
- You can reserve ready-to-go, interactive virtual spaces for up to 10 people
- Additional funding is needed for spaces with more than 10 people
Common requests:
- I'd like a PEPS Tech to check in to my presentation for backup
- I want to video record my event
- I'd like to use the Weitz 236 Gather space
- We're hosting a workshop and want to ensure the classtech is running as normal
If you're planning a HYBRID event
Carleton has rooms on campus with built-in video + sound for remote participation. For events, please try to schedule in one of these rooms before requesting a one-off setup. For class, you are expected to have your own laptop and webcam available for basic video conferencing. PEPS will provide guidance, advice, and expertise. We do not provide staff to run meetings.
