Body

Instructors have the option of allowing students to download their course content from Moodle. This article serves as a guide for students to learn how to save the content provided by instructors.

Downloading Course Content

Course content includes all files, folders, text, and media. Everything from the course banner, to assignment descriptions, to file attachments can be saved from Moodle. If you decide to save course content, it will all be added to a .zip file. This file will exclude any files larger than 50 megabytes.

In order to create the .zip file containing the content:

  1. Make sure your instructor has turned on this feature; by default, courses will not allow students to download course content
  2. Navigate to the homepage of your course
  3. From the toolbar, select More > Download course content

Once completed, all content will be saved to your device.
