Importance of Adding a Personal Email Address
In today's world, people have both an email address provided by their employer and a personal email address. Adding your personal email address to your Workday account - and keeping it up to date - has several advantages. From a security perspective for example, if you wish to change your Carleton password for any reason, you can do so yourself without having to contact that ITS Helpdesk. For those leaving the college, you are unable to access your Workday account (e.g. to get tax documents such as your W-2) unless you have your personal address set as the "Home (Primary)" in your account.
Adding or Changing Your Personal Email Address
To add or modify your personal email address on record, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to Workday
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right, then select View Profile
- On the left side of the screen, select: Contact
- Select: Edit
- Under the Email section, select the Pencil Icon
- Enter (or modify) your personal email address
- Select: Submit
