For Carleton-owned computers ONLY:

  1. Log out of your computer
  2. Log in using your .\admin account
  3. Connect to Carleton's GlobalProtect VPN (link opens in a new tab) using your current Carleton username and password (if you just changed your password, use your new password)
  4. Search your computer for Command Prompt but do not open it
  5. Select Pin to taskbar
    command prompt on Windows 10
  6. Hold down the Shift key while right-clicking on the Command Prompt icon in your taskbar
  7. Select Run as Different User
    run as different user
  8. Log in with your current Carleton username and password (if you just changed your password, use your new password)
