If your authentication method is no longer supported, but you have an existing device in Duo, you can link the Duo App on that device with your account.

If you previously used SMS codes or phone calls to sign in to your Carleton account, and now have to switch to Duo push notifications, you can edit an existing Device and link it to the Duo Mobile app.
Connecting Existing Device to Duo Mobile
- Proceed to password.carleton.edu. We recommend visiting this site on a computer or separate device from the one you are configuring
- On the Passwords page, click on Manage your phones and devices under the Duo Two Factor Authentication heading
- If you are prompted to, log in normally
- You may need to authenticate Duo twice
- Once you're at the My Settings and Devices screen, click the blue Device Options button next to your device with the Duo Mobile app
- Click the Reactivate Duo Mobile button and follow the on-screen prompts
