Uninstallation Instructions

macOS

  1. Open the Applications folder and locate your Adobe products
    1. You do not need to uninstall Adobe Reader
    2. If you have Adobe Captivate or Contribute, you do not need to uninstall those.
  2. Open an Adobe application folder and click on the Uninstaller found inside
    1. E.g. /Applications/Adobe Acrobat 2017/Acrobat Uninstaller
    2. You do not need to uninstall Adobe Reader, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Contribute, or the Adobe Creative Cloud application.
  3. Run the Clearner tool using Adobe's instructions
  4. Restart your computer 

Windows 10

  1. Right-click on your Start Menu and select Settings
  2. Click Apps
  3. Click on each Adobe Application and click Uninstall
    1. You do not need to uninstall Adobe Reader, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Contribute, or the Adobe Creative Cloud application.
    2. If you have Adobe Captivate or Contribute, you do not need to uninstall those.
    3. You may need to provide your .\admin username and password
  4. After you have uninstalled all of your existing products, please reboot your computer
