How to install & print on an iOS device using stoPrint-personal & stoPrint-color-personal printers.

Printing from an iOS device doesn't require special software or printers to be installed beforehand. However, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device needs to be on iOS 9.2 or a newer version. If your device is not updated past iOS 9.2, update to the newest software before beginning to set up stoPrint.

How to Print from an iOS Device

  1. Ensure that you are connected to St. Olaf’s network (eduroam). If you are not on the eduroam wifi, connect to the wifi before continuing. To install eduroam, please follow these instructions.
     
  2. Open the file that you want to print.
     
  3. Select the Share icon.



     
  4. Select Print: 



     
  5. Choose Select Printer:



     
  6. Select stoprint-color-personal or stoprint-personal as needed:



     
  7. Enter your St. Olaf username (without the @stolaf.edu) and password and select OK:



     
  8. Select the details for your print job such as number of copies and duplexed print:



     
  9. Select Print: 


    Your document will be held in a queue until you release it from a stoPrint copier. 
     
  10. At one of the stoPrint copiers, swipe your Ole Card. 
     
  11. Select the print job from the list and print.
