How to Install Printers on a Chrome OS Device

Follow the instructions below to install stoPrint-personal and stoPrint-color-personal: 

  1. Ensure that you are connected to St. Olaf’s network (eduroam). If you are not on the eduroam wifi, connect to the wifi before continuing. To install eduroam, please follow these instructions
     
  2. Visit the Chrome Web Store and install the Mobility Print Chrome app. You can install the app by selecting ADD TO CHROME and then selecting Add app.




     

How to Print from a Chrome OS Device

  1. Go to the file that you want to print. Right-click on the file and select Print:


     
  2. Select Change:



     
  3. Under Local Destinations, select either stoprint-personal or stoprint-color-personal. You must select a Mobility Print printer which will be identified by the green PaperCut icon.



     
  4. Select Print:



     
  5. Enter your St. Olaf username (without the @stolaf.edu) and password. Select Print:



    Your document will be held in a queue until you release it from a stoPrint copier. 
     
  6. At one of the stoPrint copiers, swipe your Ole Card. 
     
  7. Select the print job from the list and print.
