General Introduction
The Division of Communications provides strategic communications and marketing services in support of Carleton’s mission and identity. In partnership with college offices and academic departments, we design and develop print and digital materials, tell compelling stories on paper and online, create dynamic websites, and strategize ways to meet recruitment and fundraising goals.
Preparing your Request
Before you begin the process, it will be helpful to gather answers to the following questions, which you will be asked to provide on the following form:
- What is the goal, theme, target audience, and key message(s) of the marketing strategy?
- How will you measure success?
- Is there a call to action, and if so, what is it?
- What physical and digital elements should be included (and how many will you need), and what is the overall scope?
- Will there be a social media component?
- What is your budget and budget number?
- What is your desired deadline?
