How to set up the native Apple Email application with your Carleton Gmail account.

  1. Go to the settings within Gmail
  2. Select Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  3. Select Enable IMAP
  4. Then Save Changes
  5. Open System Settings on your computer
  6. Navigate to Internet Accounts
  7. Click Add Account
  8. Select Google, enter your full Carleton email address and click Next
  9. Sign in to your Carleton account normally, this may prompt DUO two-factor authentication
  10. Select which apps you would like to use with your Carleton account
  11. Click Done
