Extempore: Request Access or Report an Issue

Summary

Request access to Extempore for faculty and TAs. Students will receive a license based on the Moodle integration.
Report any issues you may encounter with Extempore.

Body

Extempore is a third-party application that Carleton is licensing for specific language classes, connected to Moodle. Its primary purpose is to give students opportunities to practice written, listening, and spoken language skills through assignments that use text, images, video, and audio files.

Faculty interested in the tool need to request access from Academic Technology.  Academic Technology will also check with faculty who have used the tool before to ensure continuation of use and sufficient student licenses.

Faculty and TA licenses do not require a paid license but need to be associated with a specific Moodle course to ensure timely access.  Please indicate on your request what Moodle course you want to connect with Extempore and, if applicable, which TAs also need access to the course.
