  2. Log in with your Carleton username and password

  3. Click on the "Create device" tab

  4. Fill out the form with the relevant information (MAC Address, Name, etc.). If you don’t know how to find your MAC address, follow these instructions: Finding your Device's MAC Address

  5. Click on the “Create Device” button. Your device should show up in the list of devices you've registered

  6. You should now be able to connect to CarletonGuests with your gaming console

For PS5 Users

PS5 devices have better connections if you go into the console settings and use the 5 Ghz band of wifi. Here's how:

  1. On your PS5, to to Settings
  2. Select Network
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Set Up Internet Connection
  5. Wait for the initial scan to end
  6. Press the Options button on your controller to access the advanced menu
  7. Select 5GHz under Wi-Fi Frequency Bands
  8. The PlayStation will then re-scan for Wi-Fi networks on the 5GHz band – wait a few seconds
  9. Select CarletonGuests and complete setup as usual
