Good news - if you have received a suspicious email, you can report it within Gmail (not outlook) and not need to do anything further. This includes phishing, spam, fake senders, spoofed senders, and more.
If you would like to verify the validity of a message you receive, you can reach out to the sender or business directly through a known good contact method.
To report a suspicious email:
- On a computer, go to Gmail.
- Open the message.
- Next to Reply , click More .
- Click Report phishing.
