This article provides steps for checking out a temporary Zoom software license in Account Services. Temporary Zoom licenses are active from the time of checkout until 3:00 AM the following day, at which point they will expire automatically.
As a courtesy to others, please return the license when you are finished. Otherwise, the license will be returned automatically overnight.
To get started, check out the Zoom Software license from Account Services and then proceed with using the web version or downloading the desktop app.

How to check out a Zoom license:
- Sign into Account Services
- Select Software License Checkout under Other Services
3. Under Available Licenses select the Checkout out button within the Zoom box.
Accessing Zoom
There are 2 options for accessing the Zoom application once you have checked out a Zoom license: either through a web browser or by installing the Zoom Desktop application.
Via Web Browser
Go to the Zoom Website and click on Sign In
Click on the Sign in with Google button
Choose your St. Olaf Account
Desktop Application
If using the Zoom desktop application, open the Zoom App and Sign In
If you do not have the Zoom Desktop application you can install it through this Zoom website Downloading the Zoom Workplace desktop or mobile app
