This article provides steps for checking out a temporary Zoom software licenses in Account Services. The temporary Zoom license is only active from the time of checkout until 3:00am the next day. If the licenses has not been returned it will automatically return at 3:00am the next day.
You will need to first check out the Zoom Software license and then access Zoom.
Zoom Software License Checkout
How to check out a Zoom license:
- Sign into Account Services
- Select Software License Checkout under Other Services
3. Under Available Licenses select the Checkout out button within the Zoom box.
Accessing Zoom
There are 2 options for accessing the Zoom application once you have checked out a Zoom license either through a web browser or by installing the Zoom Desktop application.
Via Web Browser
Go to the Zoom Website and click on Sign In
Click on the Sign in with Google button
Choose your St. Olaf Account
Desktop Application
If using the Zoom desktop application open the Zoom App and Sign In
If you do not have the Zoom Desktop application you can install it through this Zoom website Downloading the Zoom Workplace desktop or mobile app
"As a courtesy to others, please return the license when you are finished. Otherwise, the license will be returned automatically overnight."
