StoryMap JS is an open-source application that creates interactive map tours. Locations can be added to each slide with content (text, media) to explain their significance.

Features
This application is quick to learn and to set-up. Some basic features include:
- Projects are contained in the website - nothing needs to be downloaded or saved to a local computer
- No collaboration available - individual projects only
- Sharing and embedding available - maps can be shared and embedded on websites, such as Moodle or Wordpress.
