Updating Zoom

For security, performance and to take advantage of Zoom's regular product enhancements it's good practice to regular update your Zoom desktop and mobile applications. This article includes instructions on how to update Zoom on multiple devices. 

Updating Zoom on Mac

1. Launch Zoom desktop app for Mac
    
2. Click on your profile picture in the upper right of the Zoom window and select Check for Updates
   
    
3. If an update is available, select Update
   
    
4. Click on Install
   
    
5. Step through the Zoom installer (you will need to enter your username and password)
   

Updating Zoom on Windows

1. Launch Zoom Desktop app for Windows
    
2. Login if prompted
    
3. Click on your profile picture in the upper right and select Check for Updates
   
    
4. If an update is available, select Update
   
    
5. Step through the Zoom installer.
   

Updating Zoom on IOS

1. Open the App Store app
    
2. Click on the profile icon in the upper right (number of app updates are highlighted here in red)
   
    
3. Click on Update next to Zoom
   

How do I find detailed information about the latest Zoom release?

You can find additional information about the latest version of Zoom and what changes were made by visiting Zoom's website. While updates are fairly consistant across all platforms, if there is a release that fixes a particular issue on Mac or Windows, you can check this by referencing individual notes:
